Loud Thoughts

OK, so I've put it off for long enough. I'm 29.5 now, and if I'm going to reach my goal of trying for kids "before I'm 30", it must commence now! John and I are riding in the MS150 from Houston to Austin this weekend, and all bets are off after that. Can you believe it? I never thought I'd EVER get to this point in my life - I still remember playing with Leah in the backyard to the soundtrack of Wham "blaring" (if you can call it that) out of the little brown Fisher Price tape player. I don't feel old enough to be here, but as Julia constantly reminds me, I am, and I'll "be FINE!" :) Not to mention, Leah keeps telling me she's "not getting any younger", so I guess that's my cue!

Several of my friends have embarked on this journey now, so I'm not the only one. I'm REALLY enjoying watching Julia, Renee, Claudia and Tiffany be pregnant, and I'm glad they did it first! :) I've also known people who have kept pregnancy journals, so I hope to do that here. There are lots of friends and family who will be curious, and we all know I'm not one to keep my mouth shut :) so this will be a great place to inform everyone. I promise, no gory details. Only lively and fun information. That's me! Lively and fun! ;)
